Paddling since: 2003 
Since childhood I´d been spending most holidays with my family on open canoe trips and futher on, at the age of thirteen my mother persuaded me to try out kayak. After some time I got into paddling, after many hard times swimming got the hang of the eskimo roll and began to love kayaking lifestyle ever since.

Favourite river: Vltava River - the Devil´s Streams part

Favourite paddling resorts: Tessin and Piemont (IT), Galicia (ESP), Corsica (FR), Öetztal (AUS), Slovenia (SLO)
Highest descended waterfall: 14m the Ribo River (2008)
Home river: I have been guiding canyoning, mountaineering, caving, biking and trips down the river on the river Soča in Slovenia every whole summer for seven years. I also teach people how to kayak, that´s why I know every stone of the river here.

Personal objectives in the sport for 2011: Practice more on slalom boat during the winter season, than push aside my student´s duties and attend as many extreme races as I manage and of course spend as much time as I can out on the water, make some nice adventurous trips:o) 

What fascinates me about whitewater kayaking: I particularly like the immense contact with the nature while being on the river which you cannot approach any other way than on kayak. That I can move on the boat as the water does is a thing that saturates me most of all. Moreover, being with the group of reliable and relaxed friends, who are always there to help on water and outside is by my opinion one of the many wonderful things about whitewater kayaking. Also the competitions epitomize for me a great challenge and opportunity to try to become better every time.
